How to Use the FROG Serene Floating System in Your Hot Tub
Prepare your tub
If you are new to the FROG system or are switching over from a chlorine-based sanitizer, you will want to drain your hot tub to get rid of any existing chemicals before refilling with fresh water. Once the tub has been filled with fresh water, test your water using water test strips to check the starting values of your water's pH and alkalinity
Balance your water (always balance alkalinity first, wait at least 6 hours, then test water again and adjust pH if still required), and then shock the hot tub using FROG Jump Start (included in the FROG Serene kit) to rid your water of any existing unwanted material
Set your FROG system according to the included instructions, set it afloat, heat your tub to the desired temperature, and test the water again daily for the first week to make sure chemical levels are staying in the proper range
